How Penn Voted



Obama swept Penn's campus and the surrounding area, winning 71.5% of the vote. Within our area, the Divisions Obama won by more than 71% are colored dark blue. The Divisions he won by less than 71% are colored light blue. The yellow areas are where the DP does not have detailed results. For more coverage of voting see our election blog or our homepage.

Important information for when you head to the polls


If you are voting at a polling place for the first time, you must bring identification. Approved forms of photo ID include a Pennsylvania driver's license, any ID issued by a Commonwealth agency or the U.S. government, a U.S. passport, U.S. Armed Forces ID and a student ID. Non-photo identification must include your name and address; acceptable forms include a paycheck, utility bill or bank statement.
