Kathy Wang
Want to poke a little fun at all the action surrounding the presidential elections?
The Social Planning and Events Committee has secured approximately 800 tickets to the upcoming filming of Comedy Central's The Colbert Report on Penn's campus.
Tickets to the show sold out on Comedy Central's Web site within 10 minutes of the announcement that the program would air in Philadelphia.
Extra tickets will be distributed for each night of taping via a lottery on the SPEC Web site at specevents.net. The lottery is open and will close at midnight on Sunday, April 6.
The satirical talk show featuring political humorist Stephen Colbert will be taped at the Annenberg Center's Zellerbach Theater from April 14 to 17, just before the Pennsylvania primary on April 22.
This marks the first time the show will be filmed outside its regular studio in New York City.

I got tickets to the Report, and the terms said specifically that tickets may not be raffled, auctioned, or sold. Does Penn get an exemption for hosting Colbert?
