News Brief: Two males robbed at 39th and Spruce

Two males unaffiliated with the University were robbed last week, Division of Public Safety officials said.
Two male suspects approached the victims at about 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 on the 3900 block of Spruce Street and demanded money. The offenders then took the phones of both complainants and fled in an unknown direction.
No injuries occurred, and no weapon was used.
There is no description of the suspects.

Many students will be staying on campus or returning early during the Thanksgiving break. Many athletes are required to attend practices. I would advise them to be especially careful during that time. (Continued…)

This happened in a busy part of the campus, only 2 blocks away from the quad gate. This happened during early evening, not at 3 AM when there are fewer people around. (Continued…)
