The DPAA Board meets three times annually, in the fall, winter, and spring. The meetings are open to any DP alumni who wish to attend. Plans for Alumni Day, the fall Marquez Conference, the 125th Anniversary Celebration and other summer through early-fall activities will be set. Alumni Day Reception, Saturday, May 16, 2009, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
Stop by the DP's tent on College Green during the annual Alumni Day picnic. Say hi and pick up a copy of your favorite college daily. Then, following the Parade of Classes to the Quad, continue up campus and come back to the DP office at 4015 Walnut Street for an open house reception from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Chat with fellow DP alumni and see what's new in the halls of the "Pink Palace". DP 125th Anniversary Alumni Reunion , Friday, October 2 - Sunday, October 4, 2009
Plan now to attend the DP's first-ever alumni reunion, in celebration of the DP's 125th anniversary. The weekend events will begin with an informal Friday evening get-together at a watering hole on the Penn campus. Saturday will be filled with speakers, panel discussions, tours of the campus and the DP office, and will culminate in a dinner in Houston Hall's Hall of Flags. An alumni book fair at the Penn bookstore will highlight the Sunday morning closing of the weekend.
